Escapade²⁰¹⁹

Escapade begins from “freestyle, naked-in-your-bedroom dancing,” approaching the body as a holder of personal and collective histories. Real-time encounters move between intimacy and distance, private gesture and public exposure, vulnerability and power.

The work premiered across three performances, September 27–29, 2019, at Catapult in New Orleans, presented by Mondo Bizarro in association with the Tulane Department of Theatre and Dance.
